Earth Day is April 22 – Good family project (year round): FOCUS on RE- USE. Keep as much as possible out of the landfill by buying carefully so there is minimum waste, use up what you have, share what you can, donate good items to Goodwill, Salvation Army, or drop (clothing and shoes only) into the Charities of Hope(www.charitiesofhope.org) bin located at the end of the library parking lot. Have a tag sale. Talk about what else your family can do to “Use it up, share it, recycle it…….for Earth’s Sake!”
Beginning 2014, town recycling information bulk mailings will be reduced to two – one in early spring and one in early fall. You may call me with questions.
Stay tuned for more information about recycling latex paints and mattress recycling!
